Do we have your birthday (and anniversary if married) on record in the church office? How about the birthdays of your family members? We like to honor those celebrating these special occasions by noting them in The Columns as well as providing cake on a Sunday at church for the birthday honorees. If you have not shared these special dates with us, please jot them down and leave them in the office, or email us at staff@lcc-church.org.

Audio Tapes
Audio Tapes of each Sunday sermon are available upon request. Please contact the office if you would like one.

Bulletin Boards/Displays
Would your group/team like to use a bulletin board or display case to share information about your group? A sign-up sheet is located on the office bulletin board. Please sign up to reserve your spot!

Child Activity Bags
There are canvas activity bags at the back of the sanctuary in a wicker basket for the younger members of our congregation to occupy them during worship. We only ask that the bags make their way back to the basket after the services. Thank you, and enjoy!

Devotionals
LCC subscribes to The Upper Room, a daily devotional, for you to use at home. Regular and large-print copies are available in the West Clifton literature rack. 

E-Mail
We maintain member e-mail address information in a directory for internal office use. (These email addresses are not shared in the church directory which we publish for member use.) Some members prefer to receive The Columns via email, which saves the church money for postage. Also, occasionally we let church members know about last-minute opportunities via email. 

If you have an email address that you would like to share with the church office, please email us at staff@lcc-church.org. Also, if you would prefer to receive The Columns via email only, please make a note of that in your email.

Note: The free Adobe Acrobat Reader must be installed on your computer in order to open and read the newsletter.

A calendar for Sunday flowers is posted on the bulletin board. Flowers may be given in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special occasion. Donation is $30. Please sign your name next to a date if you would like to give flowers during the coming year.

Haynes Nursery School
The registration period for fall enrollment at the School begins the preceding November and is announced in the church bulletins and in the News section of this website. LCC members have first priority for the class of their choice, but you must register before the announced deadline. For more information regarding enrollment, please call (216) 221-9555 ext. 120.

Large Print Bulletins
Large print bulletins are available from the ushers. 

Library
The Library has a variety of titles -- not only a good Biblical reference section, devotions, and Christian Education support books for use by teachers, study groups, and individuals, but also biographies, fiction, children's books, fine arts, etc.

The Library has a Hostess to help you on Sunday morning to welcome you and help you find titles you need.

Books are checked out for two weeks and can be renewed. We do not charge fines for overdue books.

The Library has a Magazine Exchange in the upstairs hallway. Look over the selections on the table, and take home your choices. They are free!

The Library bulletin board is in the southeastern parking lot hallway entrance. Be sure to check it often for new selections book recommendations, and reviews.

Maintenance/Cleaning
If you see anything in our church that needs to be fixed, cleaned or taken care of, please let us know by writing it down in the Maintenance/Cleaning Log Book located in the church office. We will log what action is taken or explain why action cannot be taken at this time. Your help is appreciated.

Nametags
Let everyone know who you are! Please use the nametags we have provided, available in the West Clifton hallway, when you come to church on Sundays. Welcoming Ministries has provided stickers and markers so that you can "personalize" your nametag; please make sure your name remains legible! If we missed your name, please let us know.
 
Office Hours
Our summer office hours are Monday - Thursday, 9am to 1pm. 

Prayer and Study Resources 
On the table in the back of the sanctuary are two handouts for your use at home. One is a weekly prayer calendar; the other examines this week’s lectionary readings. Please feel free to pick them up after the service.

Room Requests
It's very important with the increasing use of the building that Room Request Forms be submitted to the office. By doing this we can insure that your meeting or event is set up and ready when you walk in the door. 

Table Decorations
Table decorations, such as seasonal items, flowers, etc. are available in the Community Meal storage room on a large metal shelf. Some of these decorations have been used by Community Meal and others have been used for various church activities. All are available for church usage. If your group desires to use them, please contact the Office Manager to arrange to borrow them. You are asked to return them in a timely manner so that they are available to other groups.

A reminder: Plastic table covers of various sizes, colors and numbers are stored in the white cabinet next to the kitchen refrigerator. (More are available on the same shelf as the decorations.) Please remember to wash and dry them before folding and storing them. Table linens: On the left side of the Parlor buffet are card table-sized cloths, covers for the serving table and linen napkins. In the second floor closet (above the Chapel) is a rack with other linen covers with sizes marked on the hangers.

FYI: There is an Inventory book in the office, Parlor Kitchen and Kitchen that identifies the various linens as to size, color, quantity and location. This book also has information about other items needed for refreshment activities in our church.
