For the past 18 years, Meals on Wheels Bakers has used
the kitchen here at LCC to create goodies for Lakewood’s homebound community.
Each Monday morning, 4 people meet to bake enough pastry to serve 85 people for
a week. These cakes, cookies, and muffins are then taken to the main kitchen at
Lakewood Methodist Church.
We are always looking for interested folks, male or
female, to help us in this fun and welcomed service. If you would like to bake
one Monday a month or can substitute on occasion, please call Jane Clark or Ann
