Volunteers are needed the first Wednesday of each month to help with a
dinner served to people in the community.
Areas to help are:

the meal - requires general cooking knowledge and is a team effort.
Help take foods out to the serving tables.

Basically
handing out beverage cups and pantry bag tickets to our guests as
they arrive at 5:30 pm. During the winter months, help serve a cup
of soup before the meal.

Buffet style
serving from two tables. Guests come up as table numbers are called.
Food is placed on plates and passed along; may help with glasses of
milk. Help to pass out desserts to guests at their tables.

Guests help
with disposing of paper/plastic items; help clear other items from
tables. Wash off tables; help store some items. Others help to wash
and dry cooking/serving items and return them to storage areas. May
be asked to take towels or aprons home to wash.

Bags |
6:15-7:15 pm |
Help
distribute prepared bags of groceries to guests as they turn in
their tickets. Unpack remaining bags not distributed, separating
items, ready for returning to storage. |
Please come and observe, if you are
interested. We usually have food for those helping with this mission
program of our church.
