We need additional members to be trained in two basic areas, sound and lighting.


Sound Systems Operator
These volunteers manage the sound projection and recording during Sunday services and special events.

Requirements:
We will provide hands-on training with the church sound equipment.
Must learn the functions of the audio system components.
Some basic troubleshooting skills.

Time commitment:
For Sunday services, 1/2 hour before the service and 1 hour during.
Our goal is to train four or more volunteers who can divide up coverage of the worship and events schedule.

Job tasks:
Start up the sound system, position microphones, check sound and recording levels.
Monitor sound and adjust as needed.
Simple troubleshooting
Communicate with worship and event leaders.
Store equipment properly.
Identify any needs for equipment repair/replacement.

Lighting/Video Operator
These volunteers manage the stage lighting during special performances, and occasional visual projection/recording during Sunday services and special events.

Requirements:
We will provide hands-on training with the church lighting, projection, and video recording/playback equipment.
Some knowledge of computers and media software helpful.
Some basic troubleshooting skills.

Time commitment:
For the occasional Sunday service, 1/2 hour before the service and as needed during the service.
For staged events, time commitment will vary with the need for rehearsals and length of the event.
Our goal is to train two or more volunteers who can divide up coverage of the worship and events schedule.

Job tasks:
Coordinate lighting or projection plans with the event leader.
Set up and test equipment as needed.
Operate equipment during events.
Simple troubleshooting.
Store equipment properly.
Identify needs for equipment repair or replacement.
